Hi! I’m Alex Carol, an Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineer from Barcelona, Spain. Maker at heart, and founder of Ecodecat. I’ve always been driven by the idea of building things that have a real impact. Over the years, I found my purpose at the intersection of sustainability, engineering and digital fabrication: turning wasted plastic into new things.

I love designing and creating. I enjoy the entire process: imagining an idea, prototyping it, improving it, and finally turning it into something useful and accessible. For me, engineering is not just about technology, it’s about solving problems that matter.
